What is Control-1?

Control-1 is the most effective solution ever developed for the prevention and control of horticultural diseases in greenhouses and commercial nurseries. This multi-purpose suppressant is as effective on plant material as it is on greenhouse hard surfaces.

Control-1 is a blend of ammononium chlorides (a by-product of the ammonium-soda process.)
Control-1 is a third generation quaternary.
Control-1 has a high hard water tolerance, increased killing power and yields a wider margin for safety.
Control-1offers a broader spectrum kill against gram negative and gram positive organisms.
Control-1 is non-volatile and unaffected by freezing and high temperatures. No long term storage problems.
Control-1 is not affected by ph or flammable solvents.

Where should it be used?

IN THE GREENHOUSE:
Use Control-1 on all hard surfaces that are subject to mold, mildew, algae and bacteria. Greenhouse glass, benches, floors, solid walls, pots, overhead areas, liners, buckets, cutting tools, showers, locker rooms, most irrigation systems, flooded floors and benches will all benefit from Control-1.

ON PLANT MATERIAL:
(See Master Label for specific information)

Use Control-1 for the following:

  • Propagation - Use as a media or soil drench.
  • Bare root nursery stock - Dip or spray to run off.
  • Suppression of damping-off: Use as a pre-plant dip.
  • Mist propagation of plugs and cuttings:
  • In the Field: As a suppressive spray for nursery plants:
  • Nursery Plants: Woody ornamentals, conifers, roses, big leaf evergreens and deciduous trees, including bare root stock.
  • Important Note!! For all detailed information pertaining to uses and dilutions go to our Master Label.
  • Cut Flowers: against ethylene gas during shipping, algae blockage in flower stems while in water.
  • Mildews and Botrytis: During cold storage and shipping.

REASONS TO USE CONTROL-1

  1. Completely safe and non-phytotoxic to plants.
  2. Control-1 is not an oxidizer. It will not lose its energy while in its container like peroxide or bleach products.
  3. Due to Control-1's extremely efficient dilution rates it will usually cost less than one-half the diluted price of other products.
  4. Versatility - no other product offers so many different uses and benefits...
  5. Easy application through most spray devices, foggers, foaming apparatuses', drench, mop or wipe on and ebb & flow equipment.
  6. Phosphate free, biodegradable.
  7. Stable - mixes readily with water - leaves no residue marks on leaves - excellent wetting agent.
  8. This product meets AOAC efficacy standards for hard non-porous surfaces.
